The Reluctant Vampire

Premieres 29th October, Thursday on BBC Player (Two episodes weekly)

Family comedy about a young vampire who finds out he’s not a vampire at all. From writers Rob and Neil Gibbons (Alan Partridge) and starring BAFTA-winner Lenny Rush. Val doesn’t fit in anywhere. Raised by a typical vampire family, he has always felt a little bit different and never quite at home in the family castle. But following a surprise encounter with his reflection, Val realises he isn’t un-dead after all. Not one bit. With a big secret to hide, Val must find out what it is to be human by mingling with the locals. He falls for a kindred village girl called Gertie and must navigate both worlds without letting his cover be blown.
